Climate Change Analyst

Digital Waffle is seeking a Climate Change Analyst to assist clients in understanding climate data insights for Net Zero targets. Responsibilities include calculating carbon footprints, ensuring accurate data collection, and producing insights for future clients. Candidates should have experience in carbon footprint calculations, client-facing roles, and strong analytical skills. The position offers a salary up to €90k and allows for 1-2 months of remote work while relocating to Berlin.
My client is an innovative tech-for-good start-up based in Berlin. With almost a third of global greenhouse gases coming from food production, this cutting-edge software provider is at the forefront of the solution securing funding of over €10 million in just 2 years. They require a Business Analyst to help their clients understand the climate data insights in order to set an accurate and achievable Net Zero target.The roleConduct calculations to work out carbon footprints for several different clientsWork closely with their client base ensuring accurate data collection, calculations and data analysisProduce insights from the calculations to be used for Net Zero target plansKeeping up to date with the latest environmental regulations and protocolsCreate “products” from the calculations to offer the same service to future clientsSkills and experience requiredExperience in carbon footprint calculations (corporate/product) is requiredAt least 3 years’ experience with client facing positionsPrevious experience in consulting start-ups (or other fast paced environments)Strong skills in complex datasets and quantitative analysisFluent German speakerIn return, they can offer:A salary of up to €90k depending on experienceGenerous benefits packageTop of the range city centre office1-2 months remote work while relocating to BerlinIf this role sounds of interest, feel free to apply or reach out to Luke Rose directly!
