Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional to join our team as a Programme Officer - Climate Adaptation and Natural Resource Management. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.
About the Role
• Develop project proposals with partner organizations, taking into account community needs and SWISSAID's Country Programme Plan;
• Manage project activities, enforce deadlines, and review budget vs expenditure;
• Visit partners to assess project progress, identify challenges, and provide necessary support;
• IDentify experts to develop climate adaptation planning modules, conduct training, and provide handholding support to partners;
• Foster integration of tools to capture gendered impacts of Climate Change and actively involve women in identifying adaptation solutions;
• Review community mobilization processes and suggest improvements;
• Prepare synthesis documents on CAP with partners;
• Work closely with the M&E Officer and partners to develop and implement Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation Systems;

The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in Social Sciences or a related field, at least 10 years of experience in development work, and a strong track record of strengthening small farmers' livelihoods.
