Resource Environmental Solutions is hiring a Client Solutions Associate in various Southeast offices, including Charlotte, NC. This entry-level role supports the sales team by building a sales pipeline, identifying client projects, and developing deliverables. Responsibilities include client outreach, project assistance, and research. Ideal candidates should have a BS/BA or relevant experience, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro.
Overview
RES is currently accepting applications for the position of Client Solutions Associate in any of our Southeast offices, including Raleigh, NC; Charlotte, NC; Charleston, SC; Athens or Forsyth, GA; and Nashville, TN.
The Client Solutions Associate role serves as an entry point to the RES Sales team, supporting the pursuit of new business opportunities and RES's growth strategy.
You will build your own professional network by directly contributing to the sales process. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a qualified sales pipeline to help the region achieve its growth ambitions.
This role focuses on assisting the sales team in identifying and evaluating potential client projects, building the top of the sales pipeline, and compiling and developing critical client deliverables. This will enable RES to deliver comprehensive ecological restoration and water resource solutions to clients.
You will be part of a collaborative team that works in an office but also engages with prospects and clients. This team is ready to support your training and development and expects you to be a detail-oriented self-starter able to work with ambiguity.
What your day-to-day might look like?
50% of your time will be spent contacting new clients and partners over the phone and via email, identifying key decision-makers, setting and attending client meetings, and qualifying opportunities by scrutinizing available budgets, funding, and procurement.
25% of your time will be spent working on project deliverables and assisting other Sales team members, including crafting presentations and maps, producing impact/offset analyses, qualifications packages, white papers, proposals, and other key client deliverables.
25% of your time will be dedicated to researching new opportunities at the direction of the Sales Team and General Manager and building your own professional network.
Qualifications
We would love to talk to you if you have many of the following:
• BS/BA and/or 1+ years of applicable professional experience
• An outgoing, competitive personality and comfortability with meeting new people
• Ability to work with different dynamic teams responsible for various disciplines within project development that contribute to RES solution development
• Extensive experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Pro is required.
What will make you stand out?
• Experience working on a team that markets complex B2B solutions.
• Direct working experience with RES key client sectors (municipalities, engineering firms, economic development firms, transportation, utilities)
• Experience in industries such as environmental, mitigation, stormwater, Engineering, Project Development, Regulatory, or NGO
• Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations, including Clean Water Act, NPDES, CEQA, NEPA, ESA
• Geographic Information Systems (GIS) skills
• Established client and channel partner network and some sales experience
• Strong problem-solving skills for developing solutions to complex client issues
