Carbon1 is seeking a Client Partner in Cape Town, South Africa, to drive business growth through strategic management of agency and brand relationships. The role involves developing client strategies, ensuring revenue growth, and acting as a spokesperson for Carbon1's MarTech and AdTech solutions. Role Description
As Client Partner, you will manage and execute on a commercial strategy across major agency and brand clients to ensure revenue growth, client satisfaction and overall quality of service and performance is maintained.
The responsibilities of this critical role include becoming an expert in Carbon1’s product portfolio, establishing and cultivating working relationships with key client stakeholders, proactively bringing the full value of Carbon1’s solutions to solve client challenges and seize new opportunities, ensuring flawless execution, and organically growing our client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers, understand their strategic goals, and develop plans to partner on these goals.
• Lead, manage and grow revenue across existing and new clients, ensuring day-to-day flawless execution, and drive growth and adoption of our marketing and advertising technologies.
• Be a spokesperson for Carbon1 tech and ensure that prospective and current understand the value of our products – across the entire value chain.
• Be a strategic advisor to clients by anticipating future needs and trends and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Work with our extended team to identify and develop new opportunities and strategies to drive revenue growth from the market
• Be a critical part of the business development and client service team and contribute to the company culture
Qualifications & Desired Skill Set
• 5+ years experience in media or advertising technology
• Proven track record of strategic selling to agency and brand stakeholders and developing key accounts
• Extensive client network and book of business
• Detailed understanding of the advertising and marketing landscape, as well as key industry technologies
• Desire to change mindsets and start conversations on deployment of specific technologies
• Strategic planning and development
