The Public Interest Network is hiring a Clean Energy Organizer in Atlanta, GA. Key responsibilities include building coalitions, earning media attention, organizing events, and lobbying elected officials to support environmental campaigns. The position is full-time and does not require a degree.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build Coalitions: Collaborate with diverse organizations and constituency groups to demonstrate support for our environmental campaigns.
• Earn Media Attention: Organize news conferences, write opinion pieces, and leverage social media to raise awareness about our initiatives.
• Organize Events: Plan and execute webinars, community events, and public meetings to engage the public and mobilize support.
• Lobby Elected Officials: Meet with decision-makers to advocate for our environmental policies and build relationships with key stakeholders.
