William Charles Construction is hiring a Clean Energy Construction Manager to oversee clean energy projects, ensuring safety and quality control. Overview:

William Charles Construction, a MasTec Company, is seeking a skilled Construction Manager to join our Power Delivery team. In this role, you will oversee clean energy projects, managing field coordination, safety, and quality control from your site office in Rockford, IL.

This is a traveling position that requires up to 75% travel (approximately 3 weeks or 15 days per month). You should be prepared to drive, fly, and utilize various modes of transportation to carry out your responsibilities. You will be provided a company vehicle and fuel card, as well as designated per diem to cover living expenses during travel.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement safety protocols for all field operations, addressing potential hazards.
• Manage personnel, setting objectives for production, safety, and quality.
• Identify and allocate necessary resources, including personnel and equipment.
• Maintain and update project schedules.
• Provide monthly cost estimates and advise the Project Manager on project progress.
• Report weekly quantities of completed work accurately.
• Coordinate equipment procurement with the Procurement Department.
• Review project status and performance with the Project Manager weekly.
• Commit to extensive project-specific travel as required.

Qualifications:
• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience and training.
• OSHA 30 Hour Certification.
• A minimum of 5 years of supervisory or management experience in solar and/or wind projects.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for employment visa status.

Competencies Required:
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage a mobile workforce.
• Proficiency in CPM Scheduling.
