Overview:

Join William Charles Construction, a MasTec Company, as we seek an experienced Clean Energy Construction Manager to oversee our Power Delivery projects. You will manage key clean energy initiatives from our site field office based in Rockford, IL, ensuring effective field coordination, safety adherence, and quality compliance.

This role requires extensive travel, up to 75% (approximately 3 weeks or 15 days per month), using various forms of transportation. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and be comfortable securing accommodations in public facilities as needed.

Responsibilities:
• Implement comprehensive safety planning for all activities in diverse field operations.
• Manage personnel by establishing production, safety, and quality goals.
• Determine necessary resources, including equipment and staff, for job sites.
• Oversee and update the work schedule effectively.
• Assist in projecting monthly costs and updates for project completion.
• Accurately report weekly completed quantities.
• Coordinate equipment acquisitions with the Procurement Department.
• Conduct weekly progress reviews with the Project Manager.
• Travel 100% of the time as required for project specifics.

Qualifications:
• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience and training.
• OSHA 30 Hour certification.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a field superintendent/manager in the solar or wind industries.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without future sponsorship.

Key Competencies:
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to manage a mobile workforce.
• Experience with CPM Scheduling.
