Class 3 Truck Driver - Roll Off

Loraas Disposal North is hiring a Class 3 Truck Driver for waste and recycling collection in Prince Albert, SK. Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, daily inspections, and customer service. Candidates need a Class 3A license, driving experience, and knowledge of the local area. As a Roll off Driver, you are responsible for waste and recycling collection services for various businesses. You will ensure that waste and recycling is safely transported and disposed of at designated recycling facilities or landfills. Some of the bins need to be pulled out of enclosures to the truck so if you are looking for a physical job, this might be right for you! You will be trained in our other lines of business to help when coverage is needed and provide you with experience on all of our trucks.

As a condition of employment, all new employees to safety sensitive positions must successfully pass a substance test within a two week period of their hiring date.

Duties
• Safe operation of vehicles.
• Daily inspection of Trucks and accurate completion of related paperwork.
• Excellent Customer Service.

Qualifications
• Class 3A license required (1A preferred) with clear abstract.
• Strong knowledge of Prince Albert, Saskatoon and surrounding area.
• Minimum 3 years driving experience- short haul/city experience preferred.
• Hydraulic equipment experience, and/or farm background an asset.
• Able to work both in a team environment and unsupervised.
• Excellent logistical and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills.
• A criminal record check will be required.
