Civil Project Manager - Renewables

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Civil Project Manager for Renewables in Oklahoma City, OK. Overview:

As a Civil Engineering Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you’ll manage several wind and solar projects. You will interact with clients, and contractors to develop new relationships and expand our renewable energy portfolio.

Responsibilities:
• Manage renewable energy site development design with a focus on ground mounted solar arrays and battery energy storage systems (BESS);
• Drive business development activities in conjunction with the firms’ annual business development objectives;
• Prepare and monitor project budgets;
• Responsible for project schedules and timely completion of projects;
• Prepare design concepts and develops project plans and specifications;
• Prepare proposals for engineering services;
• Coordinate and approve pricing, estimating, and proposed strategies for proposed projects;
• Serve as a designated client contact;
• Supervise and direct team of technical staff and assigns tasks;
• Meets/correspond with clients to obtain direction/feedback;
• Conduct site visits as required;
• Responsible for control of work-in-process for, ensures accurate client billings and monitors outstanding accounts receivable and collection efforts on projects.

Qualifications:
• 20+ years’ of civil engineering experience;
• 5-8 years experience with solar and wind projects;
• BS in Civil Engineering;
• Professional Engineering License (P.E.);
• Ability to develop and mentor staff;
• Ability to prepare and/or review Civil Engineering deliverables;
• Ability to prepare proposals and manage project execution;
• Ability to interface with clients, network, and develop business;
• Ability to speak and present during public meetings;
• Civil 3D and stormwater modelling experience a plus.
