Bureau Veritas is hiring a Civil Engineer for Solar Projects in Makati City, Philippines. The role involves planning, designing, and executing civil works for solar PV installations, ensuring compliance with standards and safety regulations. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, be licensed, and have 4-5 years of experience in civil works, particularly in solar projects. We are seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer with proven experience in solar energy projects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the planning, design, and execution of civil works related to solar PV installations, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. This role requires someone who is ready for immediate deployment to active project sites.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage civil engineering aspects of solar PV projects from site preparation to commissioning.
• Conduct site assessments, topographical surveys, and soil testing coordination.
• Design and review structural foundations for solar panel mounting systems (ground-mounted or rooftop).
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of civil and electrical works.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
• Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure timely reporting and documentation of project progress and issues.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC or equivalent).
• Minimum of 4–5 years of experience in civil works, with at least 3 years in solar PV projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural design, geotechnical principles, and construction methodologies.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD, or similar design software.
• Familiarity with local building codes, renewable energy regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and be deployed to project sites on short notice.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with utility-scale solar farms or commercial rooftop installations.
• Knowledge of environmental and permitting processes related to solar projects.
• Project Management experience or certification is a plus.
