Job Description

Compunnel Inc. is seeking a Chemical Specialist in Santa Clara, CA, for a compressed shift (7:00 am - 7:30 pm). Candidates should have an Associate/Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 10+ years of experience in maintenance or equipment, and knowledge of chemical and gas systems in semiconductor operations. Responsibilities include technical support, compliance with procedures, and equipment troubleshooting. U.S. citizenship or Green Card is required.
Chemical Specialist/Manufacturing

The individual will be assigned to A, B, C D, compressed shift (7:00 am - 7:30 pm).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate / Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electronics, design, or engineering

• 10 + years of experience as a maintenance or equipment technician

• Experience with chemical and gas distribution equipment

• Experience with gas and chemical systems in a semiconductor ultra-high purity operation as an equipment technician

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS;

• Navy Nuclear power school or Military mechanic trained.

- The individual must be capable of performing cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and gas systems and perform complex troubleshooting and problem resolution for all equipment.

- Must demonstrate quality and comprehensive knowledge of gas or chemical applications in wafer fabrication and emergency response.

Sr Technicians will undergo comprehensive OJT and technical training and qualification programs. This is a career opportunity in a growing industry.

The individual will be responsible for supporting and leading the technical demands of the site gas and/or chemical equipment. They will ensure compliance with operation and maintenance procedures, emergency preparedness, and drive flawless execution.
• **Subject Matter Expert for gas, chemical and/or slurry equipment, providing technical support and problem resolution.

The individuals will be a part of the onsite Project and equipment team and will support the gas and chemical operations in 11 buildings throughout Santa Clara and Sunnyvale.
