Chemical Engineer

Kelly is seeking a Chemical Engineer in Grande Prairie, AB, Canada. The role involves designing chemical plant equipment and processes for manufacturing various chemical products. Responsibilities include conducting research to improve manufacturing processes. This is a contract position lasting until May 31, 2026, with a pay rate of CA$35–CA$45 per hour. A degree in Chemical Engineering is typically required.

Pay Rate: $35/hr.-$45/hr.

Responsibilities:
• Designs chemical plant equipment and devises processes for manufacturing chemical compounds and products, such as gasoline, synthetics, petrochemicals, plastics, detergents, cement and paper products.
• Conducts research to develop new and improved chemical manufacturing processes. Determines most effective arrangement of operations, such as mixing, crushing, heat transfer, distillation, oxidation, hydrogenation and polymerization. Typically would possess a degree in Chemical Engineering.
