CDL-A TEAM Drivers - DOD Freight

Green Valley Transportation is seeking CDL-A TEAM Drivers for DOD Freight in Knoxville, TN. The company offers competitive pay, flexible home time, and no-touch freight in a small fleet environment. Requirements
• CDL-A License (Minimum 2 Years Experience Required)
• Clean driving record
• Hazmat endorsement
• TWIC card
• Tanker endorsement
• Ability to obtain Department of Defense Clearance (within 60 days if not already cleared)
• Ability to complete SF-86 background process (will discuss options for obtaining)
• Must pass extensive background check (National Security freight)
• Ability to perform daily pre/post-trip inspections
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities
- Safely drive trucks to transport and deliver goods or materials to various locations throughout the US.
- Follow specific routes and time schedules
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
- Plan routes to meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving via Qualcomm/Electronically

Qualifications
- Commercial driving experience is required/ 2 years per our insurance provider.
- Ability to perform pre/post trip inspections daily.

- Proficient in load securing techniques
- Excellent driving record
- Valid driver's license/Medical card/Hazmat/Twic card

- Both you and your team partner will be hauling very sensitive freight, you will both be required to go through a very extensive background investigation, this is for National Security purposes.
