CDL Passenger Transport Operator

Green Mountain Transit is hiring a CDL Passenger Transport Operator in St. Albans Town, VT. Responsibilities include safely operating vehicles, conducting pre-trip inspections, assisting disabled riders, providing customer service, obeying traffic laws, and complying with route schedules. The position is part-time and does not require a degree.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate various GMT vehicles in a safe, efficient manner
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of GMT vehicles
• Provide physical assistance to disabled riders when necessary
• Provide customer service that is helpful to the passenger enabling them to reach their final destination
• Obeys all applicable traffic laws
• Complies with route schedules notifying the Dispatch office when traffic/weather conditions hinder schedule adherence
