Driver Trainee Program (Class A CDL) for Amazon Freight Partner

Compensation: $14.00/hour take-home pay + benefits

Schedule: Consistent weekly schedule, minimum 39 hours per week

Location: Jacksonville, FL

JFM Trucking LLC is hiring CDL Driver Trainees to support the Amazon Freight Partner program. We partner with 160

Driving Academy to offer excellent entry-level CDL-A training and competitive starting pay. We will help you obtain your CDL-A and transition into a professional driving career. Training involves 8-hour classes, 5 days a week, for 6 weeks (160 hours), plus finishing training (60 hours). During training, pay is $14.00/hour.

The 160 Driving Academy provides comprehensive training to ensure safety and skill development, led by experienced instructors. Upon completing training, you will be prepared to operate professionally and safely.

Once certified, your pay will increase, and you will undergo additional training at your home terminal for 2-4 weeks. Afterward, you can drive solo and take on full driver responsibilities.
Post-training Responsibilities
• Hauling loads, primarily no-touch freight, with modern equipment
• Driving local and regional routes, ensuring home after every shift
• Working at least 39 hours weekly, with opportunities for overtime
• Delivering packages on time, exceeding customer expectations

Basic Qualifications
• Must be 21 or older

Preferred Qualifications
• Over 1 year experience with handheld devices and GPS apps
• High School diploma or GED
