The role
Our Melbourne office has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and professional Catering Services Assistant to join our National Corporate Services team. The working days for this role will be Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.30 pm.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-starter who has experience in a similar catering role. You will have exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels and enjoy working in a professional services environment. Working on our client floor the key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows:
Responsibilities
• Preparing and delivering catering and coffee service to the Melbourne office.
• Providing reception and switchboard coverage as required including greeting clients, managing calls, taking and forwarding messages and responding to enquiries.
• Cleaning and maintaining all kitchen areas and client floor rooms.
• Coordinating meeting room bookings and handling technical requirements.
• Assisting with events, including logistics and organization.
What you'll need:
You will possess a keen interest and enthusiasm to learn, along with the ability to collaborate as part of a team, interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders. You will also have:
• Previous catering experience.
• Demonstrated food preparation and presentation experience.
• Barista experience.
• Strong client service orientation with the ability to professionally communicate with internal and external clients at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly effective team player who maintains an enthusiastic, positive, and proactive approach.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and professional presentation.
