Job Summary

The Catering & Event Production Manager will oversee all aspects of event planning, management, and execution for social and corporate clients across Southern California. This role works in close collaboration with the sales team to ensure seamless event experiences, from initial planning and coordination to post-event follow-up. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in event planning, vendor management, and client relations, while demonstrating excellent communication and leadership skills to manage multiple events efficiently.

Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, hospitality, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in the hospitality industry with proven success in event planning/production roles, including experience in off-site catering, vendor management, and logistics.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on exceeding client expectations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present reports and proposals effectively.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Applications, CRM, and catering/event management software.
• Basic knowledge of sales strategies, financial management practices, and budgeting for events.
• Interest and knowledge in menu design, food trends, and creative event planning.

Pay Range

$69,000 – $70,000 base + commissions
