Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled journalist to join our team as a Voluntary Carbon Market Reporter. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing daily carbon credit offsets price data from industry participants, verifying the legitimacy of market transactions and adhering to our pricing methodology to create daily price assessments.

Your Key Responsibilities:
• Assess the price of carbon offsets credits
• Write spot and feature news on pricing, market fundamentals, and the evolving industry
• Generate breaking and feature news alerts on carbon markets, corporate and jurisdictional sustainability initiatives, and the climate standards and regulatory measures that impact pricing
• Research and report on new developments in carbon offsetting standards and global initiatives
