The Carbon Markets Association of India (CMAI) is a coalition dedicated to advancing India's journey to net-zero through climate positive advocacy and initiatives. The association brings together the country's leading carbon market stakeholders including the government, industry and civil society to develop recommendations on topics such as National ETS, Article 6.2, Article 6.4, CBAM, and Voluntary Carbon Markets, with a focus on capacity building, policy development and industry dialogue.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Carbon Market Researcher located in New Delhi. The Carbon Market Researcher will be responsible for conducting carbon market analysis, carbon market research, utilizing analytical skills, effective communication, and quantitative research to support the association's initiatives and recommendations.

Qualifications
• Carbon Market Analysis and Carbon Market Research skills
• Analytical Skills, Quantitative Research, and Communication abilities
• Experience in working with carbon markets or environmental initiatives
• Knowledge of climate change policies and carbon market mechanisms
• Strong research and data analysis capabilities
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Economics, Business, or related field
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
