Job Description
The Capacity Action Team National Capitol Region Facility Management And Mat Youth Program Assistant position at Conservation Legacy is a hybrid role based in Sharpsburg, MD or Washington DC. Position Overview
Conservation Legacy Program: Stewards Individual Placements
Site Location: Hybrid or full time in-person in Sharpsburg, MD or Washington DC. Some position related travel required.

Duration: 50 Weeks
Payrate: $25/hour, 40 hours per week
Purpose
Stewards Individual Placements (STE) provides individuals with service and career opportunities to strengthen communities and preserve our natural resources. Participants work with federal agencies, tribal governments, and nonprofits building institutional capacity, developing community relationships, and supporting ecosystem health.
The National Park Service (NPS) Maintenance Action Team (MAT) program was established in FY 2021 to address facility projects at small and medium-sized parks… [full details on MAT program].
This position will work directly with the National Capital MAT Program Regional Coordinator and focus on supporting program operational/administrative tasks related to America 250 projects and events, DC Safe and Beautiful projects and MAT project planning, executing, reporting and tracking with an emphasis on supporting parks and youth corps.
Position Administrative Parameters
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day. Core hours 10-4 Eastern.

Time Off: 80 hours paid, comp time arrangements available.
