Are you passionate about creating a sustainable future? As a Campus Environmental Advocacy Organizer, you'll play a pivotal role in driving essential initiatives to protect wildlife, combat the plastic waste crisis, and promote sustainable practices. Our goal is to inspire change on college campuses, and we need dedicated individuals like you to mobilize and engage students in meaningful environmental advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inspire Action: Engage and motivate hundreds of students to actively participate in critical environmental issues.
• Guide Strategic Campaigns: Assist students in developing and executing campaigns aimed at reducing single-use plastics, protecting wildlife, and advocating for affordable education.
• Connect and Collaborate: Build a coalition of diverse organizations and student groups to amplify our impact.
• Develop Leadership Skills: Equip students with the tools to be effective leaders in social change by organizing grassroots support and managing impactful events.
• Sustain Growth: Foster a thriving, student-led organization on campus through fundraising and relationship building.
• Lead Outreach Efforts: Oversee a citizen outreach office in the summer, leading a team of canvassers focused on grassroots mobilization.
• Expand the Movement: Recruit additional volunteers and interns to enhance our outreach endeavors.
• Make Independent Decisions: Utilize your judgment in making important decisions that align with our mission.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this role ranges from $38,250 to $44,450, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans for employees and their dependents, accrued vacation and sick time, a commuter benefit program, and potential student loan assistance.
