Job Description

Environment America is hiring a Campaign Manager in Minneapolis, MN, to engage citizens in efforts to save bees from harmful pesticides. The role involves educating the public, building membership, and fundraising for environmental causes. Candidates should have good communication skills and a passion for social change. Full-time and part-time positions are available, offering benefits like health insurance and paid time off, with pay ranging from $17 to $22 per hour.
Work to save the bees in our citizen outreach and field manager positions.

In our Minneapolis office, we are working to save the bees. Currently, almost a quarter of bumblebee species are at risk of going extinct, including the American bumblebee. A big reason for this is a class of pesticides called neonics. Currently, chemical companies are working to keep these poisons in use, despite their known risks to essential pollinators. That’s why we're working to convince Minnesota decision-makers to save the bees by restricting the use of the worst pesticides.

As a canvasser you will:
• Educate and engage citizens on a campaign to make real change on pressing environmental and public interest issues
• Develop essential communication and political advocacy skills
• Build membership and raise money for nonprofit groups in your community
• Earn leadership opportunities, supervising and managing staff in the field
• Gain the experience and connections needed to launch your career in nonprofit and policy work
