Coordinate and manage laboratory instrument calibrations through CMMS, including vendors, while maintaining instrumentation inventories, schedules, and records.
Repair and calibrate trade-used deck scales in accordance with Department of Agriculture requirements; obtain and maintain State Registered Weighmaster status.
Execute routine preventative calibrations on process instrumentation using CMMS to reduce reactive maintenance and unplanned downtime.
Partner with Controls Technicians, Engineering, Operations, and Lab teams to ensure clear ownership, scheduling, and reliability of instrumentation.
Develop in-house calibration capabilities for common instruments to reduce reliance on third-party vendors and drive cost savings.
Desired Qualifications:
Certification/degree in Instrumentation Technology or Electrical Systems Technology, or relevant experience in a related position.
Experience working in regulated technical environments with working knowledge of ISO-regulated calibration environments preferred.
Demonstrated experience calibrating industrial and/or laboratory instrumentation using precision standards and measurement techniques, with strong attention to detail and audit-ready documentation practices.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively across teams.
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of self-motivation and ownership.
A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!
