Position: Warehouse Worker II - California
Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA

Hours of work:Mondays – Fridays, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM 40 Hours/Week: Monday - Friday with Overtime when requiredThe Warehouse Worker II position is responsible for all of the warehouse operations to achieve objectives which are compatible with the safety, quality and environmental standards set for the facility. These include but are not limited to receiving and reconcile deliveries; check for shortages and damage; load and unload orders generated by customer service; unpack, store and reorganize stock; operates forklifts and material handling equipment; keep warehouse clean, safe and orderly. Ensure compliance with corporate safety and environmental procedures. The Warehouse Worker II will also be able answer questions about materials in stock and assist in physical inventory and cycle counts.Duties and Responsibilities(not limited to)Responsible to follow all safety policies, JSP's and guidelines to ensure a safe and environmentally compliant workplace and facility
Maintain a positive work environment and strong customer service levels for both external and internal customers including warehouse employees, Field Service, etc.
Effective utilization of warehouse storage capacity and equipment and compliance with required warehouse standards (food grade facility, NSF, etc.)
Responsible for accurate receiving, picking, and shipping of materials
Follow warehouse inventory control procedures, participate in monthly cycle counts, and annual physical inventories
Perform warehouse operations including shipping/receiving, bulk transfer operations, inventory management
Full knowledge of their job functions and duties
Be able & willing to step into any position when needed for job completion
Prepares customer orders by processing request, pulling material, placing orders in delivery area, loading orders onto carriers trucks or Bulk Trailers and maintains quality service by following organization standards
Maintains technical knowledge by attending Safety meetings, reviewing JSP/procedures
Maintains forklifts, Hurricane 500 EM and equipment
Completing preventive maintenance requirements.Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
One year certificate from college or technical school is preferred
2-3 yearsofIndustrial / Warehouse experience is required
