The role demands a strong business leader with a solid technical background and proven expertise in P&L management, plant operations, client relations, tendering, and business development within the waste management, recycling, or construction materials domain.The incumbent will be responsible for driving operational excellence, expansion, and profitability of multiple C&D recycling facilities, while building a robust and motivated team aligned with the companys sustainability and circular economy goals.Key Responsibilities1. Business Leadership & P&L Ownership- Lead the C&D Waste Recycling Business across India with full P&L accountability.- Drive business growth and profitability through effective cost management, operational efficiency, and strategic business planning.- Prepare and execute Annual Business Plans (ABP), ensuring achievement of revenue, EBIDTA, and expansion targets.2. Operations & Technical Excellence- Oversee C&D recycling plant operations to ensure optimum productivity, process reliability, and compliance with environmental and safety standards.- Ensure efficient utilization of machinery and equipment through strong preventive maintenance systems.- Implement process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput and material recovery rates.3. Client & Stakeholder Management- Manage relationships with Government agencies (e.g., GHMC, ULBs, Urban Development Authorities) and private clients for ongoing and upcoming projects.- Liaise with regulatory authorities for licenses, environmental consents, and project approvals.- Ensure transparent client communication, compliance reporting, and delivery of contracted performance KPIs.4. Business Development & Expansion- Identify and develop new C&D waste recycling opportunities in emerging cities and industrial hubs across India.- Lead preparation and submission of tenders, proposals, and bids for new projects.- Collaborate with the leadership team to evaluate M&A, PPP, or JV models for strategic expansion.5. Team Development & Leadership- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations and business development team.- Foster a performance-driven, safety-conscious, and environmentally responsible work culture.- Promote skill enhancement, technical training, and leadership development within teams.6.
