About the Opportunity
An established and growing service-based company in the Denton area is seeking an experienced, results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to spearhead new client acquisition and strengthen referral relationships in the local market. This role is ideal for a high-energy professional who thrives in a fast-moving, face-to-face sales environment and is passionate about building a strong presence in their territory.
Key Responsibilities
• Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities through direct outreach, networking, and community engagement.
• Build and nurture referral relationships with insurance agents, adjusters, property managers, real estate professionals, and others in related verticals.
• Regularly conduct in-person visits, drop-ins, presentations, and attend local events to expand brand visibility and generate leads.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff from prospect to project.
• Consistently log activity, track progress, and manage follow-ups using CRM systems.
• Achieve and exceed monthly business development goals and growth targets.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• 3–5+ years of successful experience in business development, outside sales, or account management.
• Strong preference for candidates with restoration industry experience (water/fire/mold), or adjacent industries such as insurance, property services, or construction.
• Must live in or near Denton, TX and be highly familiar with the local business landscape.
• Naturally outgoing and assertive — someone who takes initiative and doesn’t wait for leads to come in.
• Skilled communicator with excellent follow-through and relationship-building ability.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and digital communication platforms.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation required.
