Firefly Solar is hiring a Lead Development Representative in Piedmont, SC. The role involves qualifying leads, scheduling appointments, following up with customers, managing data in the CRM, and providing customer support. Candidates should have strong communication skills and a background in customer service or sales support. This part-time position aims to support the sales team and help promote clean solar energy solutions.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lead Development Representative to join Firefly Solar. Firefly Solar was started in 2016 with the mission of empowering South Carolinians with independent, clean solar energy. Since then, we’ve expanded to installing solar panels, roofing, and HVAC systems across South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia. We’ve been voted the Best Upstate Solar Service Company the past 2 years in a row.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Qualification: Help qualify inbound leads based on predefined criteria, ensuring that only qualified prospects are passed on to the sales team for further action.
• Schedule Appointments: Manage the appointment scheduling process, ensuring accurate and timely bookings for solar consultations.
• Follow Up with Customers: Proactively follow up with potential leads and existing customers to nurture relationships for future business opportunities.
• Data Input and Management: Accurately input and update customer information, appointment details, and lead status into the CRM system.
• Customer Support: Respond promptly and professionally to inbound phone calls, addressing customer inquiries, providing information, and routing calls to appropriate departments as needed.

Preferred Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years of experience in a customer service, administrative, or sales support role.
• Experience in a lead generation or inside sales role is a plus.
• Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
