Job Description

Caddell is seeking a Business Development Manager - Solar in Woodstock, GA, responsible for driving growth in the Solar Energy Market. This role involves developing business strategies, managing client relationships, and analyzing technology to enhance market presence. Candidates should have a four-year degree and ten years of sales experience in related fields, with a strong network in Solar PV and Energy Storage. The position offers a salary of $90K–$130K annually and is full-time.
JOB SUMMARY

The Business Development Manager - Solar is responsible for identifying and securing opportunities within the Solar Energy Market. Draws on previous experience and existing industry contacts to grow and sustain market share by maintaining a high degree of motivation and determination.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborates with Director of Business Development to develop overall Solar business development strategy for Caddell Power LLC.
• Leads business development activities in the PV Solar and Energy Storage energy sector.
• Develops and maintain a strong new business pipeline, managing both early and late stage opportunities.
• Analyze PV Solar and Energy Storage technology and present data-driven recommendations to Caddell Power.
• Working with estimating, develop and maintain pricing models in support of new projects.
• Develops and maintain strong client relationships across the industry, including Utilities, IPP, OEM and EPC companies.
• Enhances market exposure for the Caddell companies across Owners, Developers, OEM's and EPC firms.
• Supports Caddell Marketing in support of business development, brand management and growth.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience: Four-year degree in engineering, construction management or related technical field and ten years of sales experience in a power, industrial or related environment. Proven sales record of accomplishment and key relationships in select markets. Experience dealing with multiple contract structures. Proven business acumen based on a broad understanding of all aspects of business e.g. finance, marketing, and sales.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Previous business development and/or sales management experience required. Existing and extensive network in the Solar PV and battery storage space including utility-scale projects. Proven focus on and experience with generating actionable recommendations through data-driven analysis. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills with proven experience with Power Point and Excel. Entrepreneurial and action-oriented. Proven ability to multitask, adjust priorities, meet deadlines, and successfully operate in a fast-paced work environment. Experience in distributed energy, PV solar, and/or Energy Storage preferred. Must share Caddell's cultural values of collaboration, results-orientation and being purpose-driven.
