Job Description
Myrtle Management Consultants is seeking a Business Development Executive in Lagos, Nigeria, to develop strategies for the oil and gas market, analyze trends, build client relationships, lead negotiations, and collaborate on projects. Candidates should have a relevant degree, 5-7 years of industry experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to travel extensively. The position is full-time and offers competitive remuneration.
Job Description
• Develop and implement business development strategies to identify new opportunities in the oil and gas market
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business decisions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the energy sector
• Lead complex negotiations and close high-value deals with oil and gas companies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction
• Create and present compelling business proposals and financial models to potential clients
• Monitor industry regulations and market conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
• Provide regular reports on business development activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in business development within the oil and gas industry
• Proven track record of successful deal closures and revenue generation in the energy sector
• In-depth knowledge of the oil and gas industry, including upstream, midstream, and downstream operations
• Strong understanding of energy market trends and regulations
• Excellent skills in business development strategies, market analysis, and client relationship management
• Exceptional negotiation and project management abilities
• Proficiency in financial modeling and CRM software
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
• Willingness to travel extensively within Nigeria and internationally as required.
