Energy Renewal Partners, LLC is hiring a full-time Business Development Associate to aid in the acquisition, due diligence, and development of renewable energy projects across the US. Key responsibilities include assessing projects, researching regulatory requirements, reviewing documentation, and preparing proposals. The ideal candidate should have strong writing skills, attention to detail, and a background in relevant fields. A bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience are preferred. Energy Renewal Partners (ERP) is seeking a full-time Business Development Associate to join our team.

The Business Development Associate at ERP will collaborate with diverse staff and clients to support the acquisition, due diligence, divestment, and development of renewable energy projects throughout the US. We are looking to add someone to our growing team who is eager to learn and enthusiastic about impressing clients with a job well done.

Responsibilities:
• Assessing renewable energy projects of all stages for critical issues and fatal flaws
• Researching and identifying applicable federal, state, and local permitting and regulatory requirements for proposed wind, solar, and BESS projects
• Reviewing third-party studies, reports, land entitlements, agreements, and documents for
• thoroughness and accuracy
• Writing and editing technical reports
• Preparing proposals, budgets, and schedules

The ideal candidate will:
• Possess excellent writing and communication skills
• Have outstanding attention to detail
• Have a curious mindset and desire to learn
• Be an energetic self-starter, with the ability to anticipate and resolve problems
• Manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in archaeology, biology, engineering, environmental science, geography, geology, or a related field; master’s degree in related field is a plus
• 2+ years of compliance and permitting experience, renewable energy development and permitting experience is a plus
• Experience using GIS or other mapping/geospatial software platforms and tools

Location: This role can be remote or based in our Austin, Texas office
