Job Description
Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Business Development Associate in Energy & Sustainability based in Hoboken, NJ. Ideal candidates have 2-4+ years in related fields, strong communication skills, and NYC experience. The role involves connecting with warm leads, educating clients, and building relationships. The position offers a salary of $55-75K plus commission, along with benefits like medical insurance and paid time off. Travel to NYC is required 2-4 days a week.

Are you a Property Manager, HVAC tech, Facilities Coordinator, Real Estate or Sales professional ready to pivot into a high-growth industry? We provide energy-saving solutions to NYC buildings, and we’re looking for motivated people to help us grow.
You don’t need traditional sales experience—just strong people skills, NYC know-how, and a hunger to learn.
Your Day-to-Day:
• Connect with warm leads—we’ve got a list ready for you on Day 1
• Educate clients on our products and programs
• Build lasting relationships and drive repeat business
• Collaborate with internal experts to provide the best client solutions
We’re Looking For:
• 2–4+ years in business development, facilities, real estate, HVAC, or similar roles
• NYC experience and ability to travel into the city 2–4 days/week
• Strong communication skills and CRM familiarity
• A motivated self-starter who’s eager to learn a new industry
What You’ll Get:
