Job Description
NAB is hiring a Business Banking Manager Broker for a permanent position in Geelong, VIC. The role involves assessing business value and risks, managing relationships with commercial brokers, and advising customers on business opportunities. Candidates should have experience in business banking and credit assessment, with strong relationship-building skills. NAB promotes a diverse and inclusive workplace culture. In this Business Banking Manager role, you will:
• Assess economic value and risk potential of new business
• Liaise with commercial brokers to manage customer relationships
• Educate customers about their business options and providing sound advice about risk and opportunities for growth
• Proactively leveraging networks of internal and external contacts to help identify new referral opportunities
• Implement initiatives to support customer acquisition in my local market
• Talk to customers about their proposed annual business plans
• Prepare and submit customer lending proposals
What you will bring:
• Strong prior demonstrated experience within business banking and/or credit assessment.
• Comprehensive understanding of business and commercial practices with significant emphasis on sales, lending, credit assessment and control experience.
• Proven track record of quickly establishing and maintaining strong, positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally.
• A commitment to strong risk culture, conduct and compliance risk.
