Description

Trinity Solar is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to support cross-functional technology and business initiatives that drive operational efficiency and strategic outcomes. The ideal candidate will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, translating high-level business needs into detailed technical requirements and driving actionable change.

This role requires strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and experience working across diverse teams including IT, finance, marketing, and senior leadership. Roles & Responsibilities
• Engage directly with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership, to align on business objectives and identify actionable opportunities for improvement.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions with cross-functional teams and translate business objectives into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, conduct stakeholder interviews, and lead value stream mapping exercises to uncover process bottlenecks and propose optimized workflows.
• Document clear, concise business requirements documents (BRD), use cases, process flows, and user stories that inform the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Business Technology (BT) and development teams throughout the project lifecycle—from initial discovery to final testing and deployment.
• Maintain product backlogs, define acceptance criteria, and ensure solutions align with business value using agile methodologies.
• Analyze business and technical processes, using data and metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and detailed status reports outlining progress, risks, and proposed solutions.
• Participate in change management, training, and rollout activities to ensure successful adoption of new systems or enhancements.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend innovations to support business growth and transformation.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (7+ years preferred) as a Business Analyst in enterprise-level or mid-sized organizations.
• Familiarity with data analytics, database concepts, and business intelligence tools.
• Experience with requirements modeling and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Figma, Visily, Confluence, Lucidchart).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to write and manage user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Experience performing cost-benefit analyses and presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Certifications

While not required, the following certifications are highly desirable:
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
• PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
