About the position

In this role, you will work under limited supervision, engaging in a range of facility activities that may include carpentry, painting, electrical automotive repair, plumbing, and grounds keeping or snow removal. Your proficiency in these areas will be essential as you perform complex and technical building maintenance tasks. You will also provide technical direction and advice to other team members, ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out to the highest standards. Responsibilities
• Perform a variety of facility activities including carpentry, painting, electrical automotive repair, plumbing, and grounds keeping or snow removal.

• Possess proficiency in carpentry, painting, electrical automotive repair, plumbing, and grounds keeping or snow removal as well as the ability to perform other maintenance tasks.
,
• Use expertise to perform complex and technical building maintenance including providing technical direction and advice to others.
,
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
• High School Grad / GED
,
• 3+ years of experience in building maintenance or related fields.
,
• Passed the Power Plant Maintenance Positions Selection System (MASS) test.
,
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL).
,
• Minimum of three years' experience in one or more of the following craft skills: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, locksmithing, carpentry, grounds keeping, HVAC, and welding.
,
• Possess a current state-issued technical license and certification in assigned discipline (i.e. Master Plumber License, Journeyman/Master Electrician License, Gas Piping License, Hazardous Waste Certification, Heavy Equipment/CL 1,2 Operators License, etc.).
