Corporate Environmental Risk Management (CERM) is seeking a Building Inspection and Compliance Officer in Atlanta, GA. Job Summary

The Building Inspection and Compliance Officer will be responsible for conducting inspections and audits to ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and other applicable laws and regulations. This role will also involve developing and implementing procedures to ensure that buildings meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Main Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular building inspections to identify potential compliance issues.
• Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with building owners and contractors to identify and resolve compliance issues.
• Develop and maintain compliance reports and documentation.
• Provide training and guidance to building personnel on compliance procedures.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as architecture, engineering, or urban planning.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in building inspection or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional certifications such as LEED AP or ICC Certified Inspector.
• Experience with building inspection software and systems.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
