Job Description
Environmental Systems Company is seeking a Building Controls Programmer in West Hartford, CT. Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, and programming building automation systems, collaborating with teams, and providing technical support. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in HVAC systems and proficiency in relevant programming languages. Responsibilities:
• Install, troubleshoot, service, and program building automation systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project specifications and design requirements.
• Perform system integration and testing to ensure functionality and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to control programming and electrical systems.
• Provide technical support and training to project teams and clients as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of programming codes, configurations, and system changes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience and a strong background in HVAC and hydronic systems, with hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Tridium Niagara, Honeywell, Johnson Controls
• Ability to independently program and customize control sequences for HVAC and other building systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
