Building Climate Control Expert

Johnson Controls is seeking a Building Climate Control Expert in Des Moines, IA. The role involves performing maintenance visits, inspections, and service requests while maintaining relationships with customers and providing estimates for repairs. Candidates should have a valid Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Journeyman Mechanic certificate, ODP/ODS Certification, and over 5 years of relevant experience. This is a full-time position.

• We are looking for a Building Climate Control Expert who has worked in commercial, industrial, and/or institutional markets.

Responsibilities
• As a Building Climate Control Expert, you will execute contract maintenance visits, inspections, site assessments, service requests and recommend necessary upgrades or repairs.
• You will establish & maintain a positive relationship with customers, vendors and co-workers through effective oral and written communication skills.
• You will provide quote estimates for labor & material repairs and upgrades as needed.
• You will represent the company by serving our customers and be responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects.

Requirements
• A valid Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Journeyman Mechanic certificate.
• A valid ODP/ODS Certification.
• Centrifugal chiller experience.
• More than 5 years of commercial, industrial, and/or institutional experience with all types of chillers, various compressor technologies, chiller control systems, and speed drives.
