About the position
The Blast Technician I (2nd Shift) position at Ultra Clean Technology involves working in a manufacturing environment focused on parts cleaning and coating technologies. The technician will operate blasting equipment and must be adept at handling hazardous chemicals safely. The work schedule for this position is from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime and weekend work as needed. The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.00, along with a 10% shift differential for working the evening shift. The technician will be expected to log data and perform SPC measurements, which are critical for maintaining quality control in the manufacturing process. On-the-job training will be provided to ensure that all employees are familiar with the equipment and processes used in the facility. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED and have at least one year of experience in manufacturing processes. Familiarity with media blasting and quality assurance practices is highly desirable.
