GDC Medical Electronics is hiring Biomedical Electronics Technicians in New York, NY, for immediate openings. Candidates must have medical equipment experience or a relevant degree. Positions include entry-level and experienced roles with opportunities for career growth in field and shop techs. Responsibilities involve repairs, maintenance, and compliance with regulatory standards. Applicants must reside within 45 miles of NYC and possess a clean driver's license and basic tools.

• Some Medical Equipment Experience or
• Electro-Mechanical Skills or
• Bio-medical Engineering or Electronics Degree (2 Year degree ++)
• Customer Service Experience Preferred
• Medical Equipment Service Technicians / Bio-medical Engineers*

Opportunity for experienced field and shop technicians to repair hospital, nursing home and clinical equipment.

GDC Medical Electronics is seeking full time, entry level and experienced Bio-medical Equipment Technicians, for repairing and maintaining a variety of medical equipment such as scales, oxygen concentrators, CPM machines, vital signs monitors, scales, lifts, etc.

Unique opportunity for a select few candidates to be trained to repair high tech equipment such as pharmacy packaging systems, scrub suit dispensers, UV Disinfectant machines, DNA Testing Laboratory equipment, ultrasound equipment etc. with manufacturers training.

Experienced Biomedical Technicians should have medical equipment background. Military or technical school graduate with a degree in electronics and related experience considered.

Trainees with electronics service experience considered.

Applicants must currently reside in the United States with valid Green Card or US Citizenship.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Field and Shop Service Repairs
• Performing scheduled maintenance
• Maintaining equipment and documentation to meet Joint Commission and other regulatory standards
• General troubleshooting and problem solving to effect repairs
• Excellent customer relationship skills
• Running diagnostic programs
• Excellent documentation skills
• Inspecting, testing, and calibrating equipment
• Ability to work independently
• Service management and leadership experience a plus
• Management position(s) for qualified individual(s)

Job Requirements
• Field Service Applicants should have experience working on medical equipment in a clinical environment
• Shop Applicants should have service experience on Electro-Mechanical equipment
• Minimum Associates Degree in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering or military bio-med training
• Proficient in English and must have ability to communicate effectively
• Knowledge of electronic principles and ability to read wiring diagrams
• Mechanical aptitude required
• Have own vehicle (company reimbursement provided for field work).
• Clean Drivers License
• Basic hand tools and digital multi-meter
