As a Wildlife Technician at the Great Basin Institute, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Casper Field Office's mission to conserve and manage natural resources. Your responsibilities will include assisting wildlife biologists with surveys, maintaining habitat structures, and engaging in public outreach activities.

Key duties will involve rangeland health monitoring, invasive species monitoring, raptor nesting surveys, data management, and project maintenance. You will also have opportunities to update databases using ArcPro and engage in cross-training across various disciplines.

Familiarity with plant identification, ArcGIS Pro expertise, and navigation proficiency are essential. Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are also vital.
