Global Partners is seeking a Biodiesel Trader in Sudbury, MA, to join the Supply & Distribution Team. The role involves developing trading strategies, conducting commercial analysis, and managing profitability in the biodiesel sector. Candidates should have a strong trading background in petroleum, exceptional leadership skills, and knowledge of rail logistics and government policies. Join us as a Biodiesel Trader and become a crucial member of our Supply & Distribution Team. You'll also engage in commercial analysis for new trading and supply assets, exploring fresh business ventures and M&A opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess:
• A strong track record of profitability in the petroleum sector as an accomplished trader.
• A robust work ethic, exceptional leadership abilities, and a relentless drive to achieve success.
• A deep understanding of basis trading, locational and structural arbitrage in both paper and physical markets.
• Expertise in rail logistics and familiarity with current government policies affecting biodiesel.
• A solid network of trading contacts within the petroleum markets, showcasing proven experience trading with both principals and brokers.

What You'll Bring:
• Outstanding organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Overseeing the daily profitability of the biodiesel and renewable diesel business, ensuring the procurement of cost-effective products.
• Complying with Global's risk policy, including hedging all products; prior experience with petroleum derivatives, swaps, futures, and physical products is essential.
• Leading supply efforts on various projects and opportunities.
• Preparing and presenting management reports as necessary.
• Collaborating with Risk Management both daily and strategically to enhance reporting and effectiveness.
• Conducting risk/return reports on opportunities and analyses as required.
• Identifying and negotiating term sales and rack deals.
• Implementing changes to boost profitability and exploring growth in existing and new markets.
• Supporting supply on acquisitions and larger scale projects.

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in clean product supply, NGL, crude, residual fuel, bunkers, trading, exchanges, scheduling, terminals, logistics, or product blending.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Strong collaborative spirit.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Effective time management and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is highly advantageous.

Education: A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting is required.
