Job Description

The BESS Lead is responsible for overseeing all construction activities related to the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) on site. This includes managing the installation of BESS systems and integration PV plant and HV Substation, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and driving project completion within the approved timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications: • Engineering Degree related in Engineering, mechanical/chemical engineering or related field • Chartered Engineer status (e.g. IET, EUR Ing, PEng) is an asset • Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2,) is an asset

Preferred Experience: • At least 6-8 years of relevant work experience in BESS technologies and at least 5 years of experience in leading the technical stream of large-scale BESS hybrid projects or equivalent experience • Any additional experience in Construction of PV and Wind power plants is preferred.
