Job Description

Trotter Workforce is seeking a BAS Project Manager/HVAC in Annapolis, MD, with a salary of $95,000-$110,000. BAS Project Manager/HVAC

Annapolis area, MD

Yearly Salary: $95,000-$110,000

Responsibilities:
• Review project scopes, drawings, and specifications
• Prepare accurate proposals, labor estimates, and bill of materials
• Manage projects and people but must have hands-on field experience
• Select appropriate controls, sensors, and equipment
• Purchase materials/equipment and manage delivery schedules
• Maintain awareness of vendor pricing and alternatives
• Oversee inventory of controls equipment and common materials
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, submittals, and O & M manuals
• Plan and manage multiple BAS projects from award to closeout
• Develop project schedules and ensure deadlines are met
• Coordinate project labor internally and with subcontractors
• Manage subcontractors for installation, programming, commissioning
• Work with field technicians to ensure proper installation and startup
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support as needed
• Ensure system testing, balancing, commissioning, and documentation are complete
• Conduct final walkthroughs and training for clients
• Act as primary point of contact for assigned projects
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and subcontractors

Requirements
• Experience in Building Automation Systems (controls installation, programming, or project coordination)
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and integration with BAS
• 7+ years of experience with BAS/HVAC systems
• Strong project management skills-- scheduling, budgeting, resource coordination
• Ability to read construction documents (plans, specs, risers, wiring diagrams)
• Proficiency with MS Office, project management tools, and basic estimating software
• Excellent communication skills for working with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
