Banking & Finance Associate

Ethos BC is seeking a Banking & Finance Associate for an international law firm in Singapore. The role involves advising on high-value transactions, drafting finance documents, managing client relationships, and collaborating globally. Candidates should have an LLB, qualification in Singapore or Commonwealth jurisdictions, and at least 3 years of experience in banking & finance. Proficiency in Mandarin or another Asian language is a plus.
The Role
Our client is an international law firm who is looking for an Associate to join their Banking & Finance practice. This headcount will get the opportunity to work on high-value cross-border transactions across Asia-Pacific and beyond. This includes:
• Advising lenders and borrowers on a broad range of banking and finance transactions, including syndicated loans, acquisition finance, and project finance.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of finance documents, including facility agreements, security documents, and intercreditor agreements.
• Managing client relationships and supporting business development initiatives.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the firm's global offices on multi-jurisdictional matters.

Requirements:
• LLB from a recognized University, with a strong academic background.
• Qualification in Singapore and/or other Commonwealth jurisdictions.
• 3 or more years of post-qualification experience in banking & finance.
• Mandarin or another Asian language proficiency is a plus but not essential for internal & external communications and engagement
