The role
Our Information Technology group is known for its collaborative and supportive culture and is a trusted and valued team within Norton Rose Fulbright. As an AV Support Analyst, you will work on-site in our Melbourne office to provide high quality and proactive use and operation of corporate audio-visual conferencing equipment.
This role is an on-site position and the hours will operate between 8.45 am and 5.15 pm but there is also a requirement for some after-hours support on a needs basis. There may be a requirement for incidental travel interstate from time to time.
The key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows:
Responsibilities
• Management and set up of video conferences nationally
• Support our Corporate Services team to ensure smooth day to day running of meetings, functions and videoconferences
• Provide second level support to investigate and resolve issues relating to AV systems
• Schedule national maintenance for AV systems and manage relationships with key vendors
• Provide support to firm mobile phones, laptops and other mobile devices to ensure integration with meeting room equipment and technology
• Involvement in firm-wide projects and rollouts; supporting of upgrades to the software environment.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a team player with the ability to build a strong rapport with all our stakeholders. You will have IT qualifications and have strong AV experience across multiple platforms gained within a professional services or large corporate environment. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is key to success in this role.
You will have knowledge of audio-visual conferencing hardware and software platforms, including:
• RealPresence Group Series and Trio
• Microsoft Teams Room's
• Microsoft Teams
• Various virtual meeting software platforms such as Webex, Meet, Zoom, GoTo etc
• Crestron and AMX automation
• QSC equipment particularly Q-SYS
• Microphones, ranging from the positioning of lavalier mics to maintaining consistent audio levels for a panel of presenters
• Management of Video switching, Music que's, mic muting, Teams call integration, organisation and support of far site's
• Sonos Session Border Controller
• Intercall, BlueJeans and other audio and video conferencing cloud platforms
• Wireless presentation technologies, such as Miracast and Airplay
• Windows 11 and MacOS operating systems, and presentation software packages on both platforms
• Apple iOS and Android mobile devices, and presentation packages on both platforms
