What You’ll Do Working under the supervision of Environmental Graphics Manager, the Environmental Graphics Coordinator will assist in the design and fabrication of environmental and interpretive graphics for Audubon Nature Institute facilities. This role blends creative design skills with technical know-how to support all aspects of the graphic production process—from concept to installation. Use of large format printers and laminator required. This position requires Experience with Adobe Suite. Day to Day Responsibilities Creates high-quality visuals for a variety of on-ground signage within ANI facilities. Collaborates with internal teams to understand design needs and translates them into effective visual solutions. Prepares files for print, ensuring proper resolution and layout. Operates and maintains large format printers, laminators, and cutting equipment. Handles and installs materials such as adhesive vinyl, banner, rigid substrates, etc. Assist in the physical fabrication of signage (cutting, mounting, laminating, etc.). On site installations of various signage. Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment. Additional/Overall Skills: Maintain a positive attitude and a strong sense of accountability, fostering a collaborative team environment where everyone feels empowered to contribute. What We’re Looking For Must Haves: 3+ years of experience in graphic design, print production, or related field Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) Strong attention to detail and an eye for design Comfortable working with power tools and signage fabrication equipment Excellent time management and ability to juggle multiple projects As part of your application, please provide a portfolio showcasing your design work. Portfolios are required and will be a primary factor in the selection process.Nice-to-Haves: Experience designing interpretive graphics Experience with RIP Software Experience with large format printers Basic construction skills (for signage installs) Experience with adhesive vinyl application Physical Requirements: Prolonged standing, walking, and climbing of stairs or ladders. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50 pounds. Frequent bending, crouching, twisting, and reaching. Manual dexterity to operate machinery or handle tools. Frequent use of vision and hearing to assess surroundings and job tasks. May include indoor and outdoor work environments. Exposure to varying weather conditions. Potential exposure to environmental hazards such as dust, chemicals, or loud noise.
