Job Description

Climate Power is seeking an Associate for its States team, offering a salary up to $66,696.90 and a comprehensive benefits package, including unlimited PTO and 100% employee-paid health insurance. The role involves supporting state initiatives, organizing events, and providing administrative assistance. What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support and monitor the State team’s activities and track initiatives across states
- Assist in organizing substantive events, briefings, and meetings with various stakeholders
- Help write team materials, including partner communications and internal reports
- Coordinate information sharing on the States program across different teams
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling and note-taking for the States team

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in issue advocacy or political organizations/campaigns
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational abilities with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
- Ability to work Monday - Friday, 9 am - 6 pm EST, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed

- Interest in the intersection between national and state advocacy/campaign work
- Experience in supporting political campaigns or advocacy efforts
