About the position

Galvanize Climate Solutions is a climate-focused global investment firm delivering capital and expertise to accelerate climate solutions. The Galvanize Investment Associate is a full-time position working directly with the Galvanize Investment Team. This opportunity will be of particular interest to an individual wanting to expand their knowledge of climate-focused investments and the operations of a growing and new investment platform. Responsibilities of the Galvanize Investment Associate will revolve around three primary types of work: New Investments, Portfolio Management, and Fund Administration.

Responsibilities
• Source and evaluate investment opportunities

• Research industry dynamics

• Analyze complex data sets

• Manage portfolio company reporting, oversight, and operations

• Work directly with portfolio companies to implement industry best practices

• Assist with reporting, valuation modeling, and data collection

• Help with external events such as industry summits

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree

• 2+ years of experience
,
• Relevant experience with investing, clean energy, climate advocacy, management consulting, or an investment bank
,
• Authorization to work in the US without employer sponsorship
