The Role
As an Associate Director / Director, you will play a key leadership role in managing projects, nurturing client relationships, and supporting the strategic growth of the business. You will act as a bridge between senior leadership and project teams, mentoring staff and ensuring high-quality delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and managing transport planning projects, with a focus on development planning and sustainable transport solutions
Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a growing team of transport planners
Building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for new business
Contributing to business strategy, operational performance, and financial management
About You
I'm looking for a commercially minded leader with:
Significant experience in transport planning consultancy, ideally with a focus on development planning
Proven ability to lead projects, teams, and client engagements
Strong understanding of UK transport policy, planning frameworks, and approval processes
