About the Role:

I am seeking an Associate Counsel in Commercial Transactions, to take a pivotal role in overseeing legal aspects of business development, finance, and general corporate matters. You will work closely with senior legal leadership on intricate commercial and financing transactions, offering proactive legal support across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Handle legal aspects of project financing, corporate financing, and commercial transactions, including due diligence, contract review, and deal coordination.
• Negotiate, draft, and manage a range of agreements, such as power purchase agreements, interconnection agreements, credit agreements, and purchase and sale agreements.
• Supervise commercial transaction closings, ensuring all necessary documentation and deliverables are in place.
• Work collaboratively with teams across business development, project management, and finance to provide sound legal guidance.
• Engage with external legal advisors to ensure efficient and cost-effective support when necessary.
• Provide legal assistance beyond transactional matters to meet evolving business needs.

Qualifications:
• J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school; active bar admission
